Wow. This is really taking off!

Three weeks later and I'm making the next entry. Gosh, my excitement to log (or b-log) my thoughts is comparable to a house afire!

So, since I last blogged, Thanksgiving has come and gone. We had turkey. And lots and lots of starches. I was dissappointed in my liquor consumption, though, as I came down with a bug in the wee hours of Thursday.

My plan was as follows: Bloody's at dawn. A little Bushmills around noon. Beer until dinner. Wine with dinner. Capped with some sort of coffee enhancer before bed.

Turns out, I had 3 diet Sierra Mists and a Lite Beer from Miller. Which was, to my surprise, less filling. We also didn't last too long on the leftovers and agreed to toss whatever was left by noon on Saturday. Oh, lots of family came in from NY, ate, and left. A pleasant time was had by all.

Random thoughts since I last spoke/typed:

* The Detroit Lions are underrated.
* Tropic Thunder is absolutely hilarious, for lots of different reasons.
* Adam Sandler is not hilarious. That Zohan shit was crap.
* It's Dec 2 and we've seen A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, Rudolph, The Grinch and Polar Express (3x) already. Gonna be the best Christmas ever.
* Focus groups are always interesting. For all the wrong reasons.
* Chicago is always cold, for no good reason.

Some advertising thoughts:

* If a client is not requesting or receptive to non-traditional media ideas, does it mean you suck as a salesman?
* Does anyone care if I don't Twitter?
* I can't really remember an ad I've seen in the last three weeks except those Dunkin Donuts lovers screaming from their roofs (rooves?). And I think it sucks.
* Oh, and the new Elf Yourself kicks ass. Load up some pics and spend the time.

Shout out to my friend Jeff in PDX and his man Otis. Vote Noel Claro for the Next Food Network Star. And Sam, clean your room.
